Data controller

The data controller is Deniz Emisyon Denizcilik ve Gemi Hizmetleri San. ve Tic. Ltd. Şti. The company provides the EUDR preliminary assessment and the related contact service on me-geo.com.

Requests under KVKK can be sent to the address below.

Data we process

When you submit the scope check or the application form, the following data is processed.

• Full name, if you provide it
• Email address
• Company name
• Phone number, if you provide it
• Scope check answers: product group, the importer named on the EU customs declaration, the country the raw material comes from, company size, whether plot coordinates are available, and whether an EU customer has asked for EUDR data
• Application content: product group, importer, need and note
• The language of the application and, when present on the link, the campaign source

Data we do not collect

Plot coordinates, GeoJSON and customer documents are not collected through these forms. The IP address is not stored on the record.

Purpose

The data is processed to prepare an EUDR preliminary assessment and to contact you about that assessment. It is not added to a separate marketing list.

The legal ground is explicit consent given through the checkbox on the form (KVKK Art. 5/1). No record is created unless the box is checked. Withdrawing consent does not undo processing that was lawful before the withdrawal.

Recipients

The record is kept in the service database. After an application is saved, the team receives a notification email and you receive a short thank-you email. That delivery uses an email service provider.

No cross-border transfer is promised until the host country is stated. If a transfer takes place, this notice will be updated.

Retention

Personal data is kept for 2 years. When the period ends, the name, email, phone, company and message are cleared. The record itself, the assessment codes and the timestamp remain. The same clearing is applied if a KVKK request is made before the period ends.

Rights (KVKK Art. 11)

Under Article 11 you have the following rights.

• Learn whether your personal data is processed
• Request information if it has been processed
• Learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used for that purpose
• Know the third parties to whom it is transferred, in Turkey or abroad
• Request correction if it is incomplete or inaccurate
• Request deletion or destruction under the conditions of Article 7
• Request that correction and deletion be notified to the third parties to whom the data was transferred
• Object to a result against you that is reached solely by automated analysis
• Claim compensation if you suffer damage because of unlawful processing

How to apply

Write to info@me-geo.com to use these rights. Further information may be requested to confirm that the application is yours. A reply is given within thirty days, depending on the nature of the request.
